Privacy policy

Beehaven ("the game") is made by [your name or studio name]. This policy explains what information the game uses and why.

What the game itself collects

Nothing. Beehaven has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics of its own. Your colony, your journal and your settings are saved only on your own device, in the game's private storage. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and they are deleted when you uninstall the game.

Advertising

The free version of Beehaven shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect and use information from your device, including:

  • your device's advertising ID (on Android you can reset it or opt out of personalized ads in your device's settings, under Google → Ads or Privacy → Ads; on iPhone and iPad, under Privacy & Security → Tracking);
  • your device's IP address, from which an approximate location can be worked out;
  • information about your device and its operating system;
  • how you interact with ads (for example, whether an ad was shown or tapped).

Your choices

  • Europe, the UK and Switzerland: the first time you open the game, you are asked whether you consent to personalized ads. You can say no and still play; you may then see non-personalized ads. You can change your choice later from the game's Menu, under Privacy options.
  • US states with privacy laws: you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for advertising from the game's Menu, under Privacy options.
  • iPhone and iPad: the game asks your permission before your device's advertising identifier can be used for tracking. You can change this at any time in your device's settings.
  • Everywhere: you can turn off ad personalization in your device's settings, as above.

Purchases

If you buy the option to remove ads, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. We do not see your payment details. The game only asks the store whether the purchase has been made.

Children

Beehaven is intended for people aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game and you want information about it removed from Google's ad systems, contact us at the address below and we will help.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
